Sub-processors
Fiveset d.o.o. ("Fiveset," "we," "us") uses trusted third parties ("sub-processors") to host, operate, and support the Aplume AI Service. This page describes the categories of sub-processors we use, what they do, and what data they may process on our behalf.
We list sub-processors by role and function, not by specific vendor name. We may change the underlying provider within a category (for example, to use a different enterprise AI infrastructure provider) without changing what the Service does for you. We will notify you of material changes as described in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Third-Party AI Sub-processors
When you use AplumeAI features, journal entry content is sent to one or more enterprise AI infrastructure providers under contract with Fiveset. These providers process text only when you actively request an AI feature (for example, by choosing to organize or beautify an entry, or by requesting analysis or insights).
Purposes
- Entry beautification: format and structure your journal text into a readable, organized entry.
- Analysis and insights: generate reflective prompts, summaries, mood-related observations, and other insights based on content you submit.
Data shared
- Journal entry text you submit for the requested feature.
- Minimal contextual metadata (such as timestamp or feature type).
Data not shared for AI processing
- Your name, email address, or billing details.
- Direct account identifiers (we use pseudonymous identifiers where technically feasible).
Retention and use restrictions
Content is retained by the provider only for as long as needed to generate the output you requested. Under our contractual terms, providers may not use your journal content to train or improve general-purpose AI models.
Location
Processing may occur outside your country, including in the United States. Transfers use appropriate safeguards as described in our Privacy Policy.
Your control
You may disable AplumeAI features in Account settings so journal entries are not sent to any Third-Party AI Sub-processor. The Service continues to work as a plain journal.
Other sub-processors
Cloud infrastructure
Hosts the Service, stores account and journal data, and runs application logic. Processes account data, journal content, and technical logs needed to operate the Service.
Payment and subscription management
Processes subscription status and billing metadata when you purchase a paid plan (for example, via the Apple App Store). Fiveset does not store full payment card numbers.
Analytics and diagnostics
Collects aggregated or technical usage data and crash reports to improve stability and performance, where enabled and permitted by your settings and applicable law.
Customer support
Handles messages you send to us when you contact support.
Updates
We update this page when we add a new category of sub-processor or materially change how a category processes your data. Swapping one provider for another within the same category (for example, a different enterprise AI vendor) does not require a change to this page, provided the role, data shared, and safeguards remain substantially the same.
